ISABEL ADAIR JENKINS - Parent's Night Out Facilitator, Yoga for Parents, Baby & Me Yoga, Pre-Natal Yoga

A dancer since age 3, Isabel has combined her love of both dance and children to become an amazing childcare provider, doula and yoga instructor.  A nanny since the age of 8, she has a playful mentality and incorporates movement and creativity to facilitate a positive and developmentally appropriate experience for kids of all ages.

In addition to working with Terpsicorps, Isabel is a professional childcare provider, teaches weekly classes at Asheville Yoga Center and subs prenatal and baby & me classes at Homegrown Families.

Isabel began dancing in Minneapolis, MN with Ballet Arts Minnesota at age 3 and then later continued her training with Minnesota Dance Theatre. During her time at BAM and MDT, Isabel trained under ballet masters Bonnie Mathis, Lise Houlton, Lirena Branitski, Gloria Govrin, Barry Leon, and more. In addition to her classical and contemporary ballet training, Isabel attended Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists where she studied Jazz, African, Hip Hop, Ballroom, Pilates, and Modern. Isabel attended Joffrey Midwest Summer Workshop in 2006 (age 15), and spent two summers in San Francisco at Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet Pre-Professional Program (2008 and 2009).

When a prolonged foot injury prevented her from continuing her ballet training, Isabel turned to yoga for its emotional, and physical, therapeutic benefits. Isabel earned her first 200 hour teaching certification in 2012 through Corepower Minneapolis, and her second 200 hour RYT certification through Yoga Oasis in Tucson.
