TEEN BEGINNERS TO INTERMEDIATES

Below are our class and time options for beginning to intermediate students

Teen intermediate level students are invited to join any of our Pre-professional Division 2 Classes, dependent on skill level.  We are open to students only taking as much of our programs as they have the ability to commit.  Please call or email us to schedule a trial class so that we can find the perfect fit for you.  We happily welcome students from any school who are looking for extra classes. 

Intro to Dance for Teens - for those who have always wanted to dance, but have little or no experience and want to explore a variety of styles.  This class will touch upon hip hop, contemporary and ballet, letting the student's interest guide the direction of the class over time.  A great way to try dance for the first time or get back into it.  This class is currently on hold.  If you are interested, please email us and we will notify you when it is scheduled to begin.

Friday 4:45-6:15pm - Hertzberg

Ballet for teens & preteens - A wonderful class for ages 9&up who are looking for a fun ballet class.  Its suitable for both beginners and those with only a year or two of training.  Non-Muse division 3 students from last year would be right at home in this class which will continue expanding their knowledge of traditional ballet vocabulary, adding fun and challenging center work.  This class is currently on hold.  If you are interested, please email us and we will notify you when it is scheduled to begin.

A great pairing with PILATES, Yoga, Intermediate Contemporary, Beginner-Intermediate Jazz / Hip Hop / Tap or Beginner-Intermediate Modern

Wednesdays 6:00-7:30pm - Hertzberg

Intermediate Modern - This class teaches traditional modern technique. Students will learn floor work, how to isolate the movement of various body parts and how to push their body to create large movements. There is a large focus on core strength and proper body alignment. Ages 10 & up  This class is currently on hold.  If you are interested, please email us and we will notify you when it is scheduled to begin.

Wednesdays 4:00-5:30pm - Owens

Intermediate Jazz / Tap - This exciting class will alternate out different dance styles throughout the year, giving students a great opportunity to explore fun and challenging new techniques.  Ages 10 & up  This class is currently on hold.  If you are interested, please email us and we will notify you when it is scheduled to begin.

Mondays 6:30 -7:30pm - Logan

PILATES - An amazing conditioning program created with dancers in mind. An amazing way to gain both strength, flexibility and a better mind body connection.

Mondays 4:00-5:00pm - Stewart

Yoga for Dancers - A challenging yoga class geared towards keeping dancer's bodies healthy, flexible and strong.  Today's professional dancers are able to keep injuries at bay with a remarkable knowledge of how their bodies work.  Starting the practice of being in tune with your body's needs while still young is crucial to dancing both longer and better.

Tuesdays 4:00-5:00pm - Jenkins

ADVANCED TEEN DANCERS
