Whether you want to experience dance for the first time, or you have been dancing since you were 3, we will work with you to find the perfect fit for your experience, needs and schedule. We welcome students whether they take one class with us a week or twelve. You can choose to take one class a week, or commit completely and apply for our pre-professional division, where you'll find the best and most well rounded dance education around.
Please call or email us to schedule a trial class if you are intermediate level or above. We happily welcome students from any school who are looking for extra classes.
TEEN BEGINNER CLASSES
Intro to Dance for Teens & Preteens - for those who have always wanted to dance, but have little or no experience and want to explore a variety of styles. This class will touch upon hip hop, contemporary and ballet, letting the student's interest guide the direction of the class over time. A great way to try dance for the first time or get back into it. - Starts Sept 6
Fridays 4:00-5:15pm - Huntley
Ballet 2 - A good starting point for older beginning students. There is a lot of attention paid to proper alignment and gaining fundamentals of the ballet vocabulary, the backbone of all concert dance forms. Ages 8.5 & up
Thursdays 4:00-5:15pm - Hertzberg
Conditioning for Dancers - An amazing conditioning program created with dancers in mind. A great way to gain both strength, flexibility and a better mind body connection.
Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm - Owens
Yoga for Dancers - A challenging yoga class geared towards keeping dancer's bodies healthy, flexible and strong. Today's professional dancers are able to keep injuries at bay with a remarkable knowledge of how their bodies work. Starting the practice of being in tune with your body's needs while still young is crucial to dancing both longer and better.
